Mother of 30 Kids, and Living Testimony to the Healing Power of Natural Health Products Joins as Partner in New Online Store, Natural Health Center.
TOLEDO, OH September 22, 2004 -– Joanne Nuzum, Ph.D., mother of 30 kids – 29 of them “special needs” - is helping to pioneer the Natural Health Center, an online natural health products store opening its cyber doors today.
Nuzum is a living testimony to the power of these products. All of her 29 special needs kids are adopted, and each had been on medication when they first arrived in Nuzum’s care. One-by-one, she moved the kids off prescription medication and on to herbal supplements and other natural products.
“I have a great interest in natural health and healing,” said Nuzum, who holds her Ph.D. in clinical nutrition. “And I knew that with the right combination of herbal supplements, I could bring each one of my kids back to balance physically and emotionally, without prescription drugs. Now they’re all doing beautifully. The transformation is nothing short of amazing. What I see are happy, healthy kids. Of course they’re still kids! But now they’re much better able to deal with life because they’re more balanced physically and emotionally.”
Nuzum’s only biological son, Dr. Dan Nuzum, shares his mother’s passion for natural health. A naturopath and chiropractor, he is also a member of the Natural Health Center team.
Joanne Nuzum is now on a mission to help others – both kids and adults – achieve balance and health using natural health products just like she did.
She’s in the process of completing her Naturopathic Doctor degree, and plans to help others heal imbalances and maintain optimum health naturally. “Prescription medication masks the problem, it doesn’t address the underlying cause of it,” she said. “Most people just aren’t aware of that fact, and they don’t know about the healing powers of natural health products. My mission is to educate people about the power of herbs and alternative remedies, and to help them get the right products for their needs.
